Believe What You Say; Ricky Nelson

The first complete measure of Ex. 1 (from the 'Believe what You Say' solo) 
introduces one of Burton's favourite rhythmic ploys: hitting a strong accent on
the last beat of the measure and then holding the note or notes across the bar. 
And dig the driving eight-note pulse while introducing a tough cross-rhythm.
