This summer James will tour with Albert Lee. The tour is organized by Doug Darroch. Special guests in New Brighton will be Mark and Ralph Schraven from Mufkin Tass, who toured with James in 2010.

Pete Townshend has joined the Buddy Holly Guitar Foundation as a recipient artist. Legendary guitarist James Burton, who played with Elvis presley, Johnny Cash, Roy Obison and other legends, presented him with his guitar in London this weekend.

The Buddy Holly Guitar Foundation raises money for school music programs by lending to artists, including Graham Nash & Jackson Brown, unique guitars, each bearing 1 original fret from Buddy’s 1943 Gibson J-45.

Artists are invited to name their favourite Buddy Holly song and a guitar is built in that name. Pete chose ‘It’s So Easy’. The guitar was built by luthier Tony Klassen

Pete Townshend has joined the Buddy Holly Guitar Foundation as a recipient artist and James will be the one presenting him with his guitar in London this weekend. Pete Townshend has chose “It’s So Easy” for his song title.

The Buddy Holly Guitar Foundation will raise money for school music programs by lending to artists, including Graham Nash & Jackson Brown, guitars built by the legendary Rick Turner, each bearingr 1 original fret from Buddy’s 1943 Gibson J-45.

James, a recipient artist of the Buddy Holly Foundation himself, is currently in Europe touring with the Elvis Presley in Concert show.
