On June 9, “A Prairie Home Companion” broadcasted from the Municipal Auditorium in Shreveport. It was the first time the 38-year-old public radio show had come to Shreveport. About 6 million listeners tuned in around the world when humorist Garrison Keillor and his ensemble took to the stage.
